WLWatchman Manual :: Console Views

Console Views

There are three different views available in the WLWatchman console: Configuration, Graphs and Alerts. Each of these is there with a different purpose in mind. The Configuration View is intended to be a static display of the domain configuration in question; the Graphs view is intended to show you, in real time, how specific MBeans are doing at any given point in time, and the Alerts view is intended to be a long-running, high-level view of the health of the system, flagging up areas for concern as they happen. Each of these views is described in detail below.

Domain Tree

As discussed in the console quick tour, all views display the currently configured domain objects in a tree on the left hand side. The different views react to mouse clicks on the objects in this tree. In the configuration view, selecting an MBean node will display the current runtime configuration of that MBean. In the graphs view, selecting one of the MBean nodes will display the internal frame used to display attribute graphs for that MBean.
